On 8th January 2025, the JITO Ladies Wing Navi Mumbai Chapter hosted “She Plays, She Powers”, a vibrant sports event under the Sports vertical at Merchant Gymkhana, Vashi. The event welcomed 60 participants and was graced by distinguished guests, including Adv. Minal Khona (Director in Charge, JITO CFE Apex), Chandni Lalka (Secretary, JITO CFE Apex), Mahendra Choradia (Chairperson, JITO Navi Mumbai), Rounak Surana (Chief Secretary, Navi Mumbai), and Sangeeta Chhajer (Chairperson, JLW Navi Mumbai).

The program began with the lighting of the lamp and the Navkar Mantra, followed by a warm welcome from Meghna Kothari, Chief Secretary, who introduced the dignitaries. Inspiring addresses from the guests set the tone for an afternoon filled with enthusiasm. Sports activities included Handball, Relay Race, Skipping, and Lemon & Spoon Race, with participants displaying high energy and sportsmanship.

Adding to the excitement, a lively Zumba session brought everyone together in a spirited dance. Winners and runners-up were honoured with medals and awards. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to Chairperson Sangeeta Chhajer for her sponsorship and leadership, along with gratitude to dignitaries, participants, and the organizing team.
