JITO Goregaon Ladies Wing Sakhi Meet and Special Talk on Living Will

JITO Goregaon Ladies Wing successfully hosted a vibrant Sakhi Meet under JBN and JPF on Thursday evening, 19th June 2025, attended by nearly 30 enthusiastic members. The meet fostered a dynamic environment where members introduced themselves in engaging and creative ways, further enhancing camaraderie and connectivity. A total of 8 business referrals were exchanged, reflecting the growing synergy and mutual support among the participants.
The meet was graced by the presence of Smt. Kavita ji Amol ji Shah, JLW Apex Treasurer, whose encouraging presence and words added immense value to the gathering.
A key highlight of the evening was a thought-provoking session by the host, Dr. Mona Badani. She addressed two impactful topics:
1. Sonography During Pregnancy – Dr. Badani shared deep insights on the importance of sonography, outlining the recommended timelines, types of tests, and critical precautions to be taken. Her clarity helped demystify the procedures and offered practical knowledge to all present.
2. Living Will – In a deeply moving segment, Dr. Badani introduced the concept of a Living Will, highlighting its emotional and direct implications. She shared her personal experience of creating one, explaining what it entails and how it can provide dignity and control in difficult times. The topic struck an emotional chord with the audience and sparked meaningful conversations.
The session concluded with announcements of upcoming events and a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the Chief Secretary of the Ladies Wing. Members then enjoyed a warm fellowship over a delicious dinner graciously hosted by Dr. Mona Badani.
